Group Bee Experience
Learn about bees and how honey is made during this fun experience that introduces you to the fascinating world of pollinators.
Visiting the apiary as part of a mixed group of fellow nature enthusiasts you will be introduced to a colony of honey bees, providing you with a bee’s eye view of the hive and the honey bees at work.
This experience is perfect for those interested in bees, the environment, gardeners and of course honey lovers! It’s also a great introduction to the hive for anyone interested in becoming a beekeeper.
You’ll join a group of 10 to 15 like-minded visitors in the apiary to explore the hives and everyone will have a chance to get close to the bees and see the hive hard at work as well as enjoying a honey tasting afterwards!

Please note:
We will supply you with a protective bee suit for use during the experience.
We cannot guarantee you won’t get stung but will do our very best to ensure you don’t - if you have bee sting allergies this experience isn’t for you.
Experience vouchers and tickets are non-refundable
Experiences are weather dependent. Should an experience have to be postponed a new date will be offered. Weekend and weekday slots are available.
Experience vouchers are valid for one year from purchase.
Children are welcome to attend experiences, we find ages 6 and up are most interested. A paying adult who will be responsible for the child during the experience is required Please note we also run family bee experiences which are specifically tailored to children.
